Our Ministry Focus
- As a ministry, we believe in the power of love to change lives. Our goal is not only to connect these precious children with needed resources, but also provide them with hope and love as they go through life knowing there's someone out there who cares!
- We are reaching out to help the ever growing desperate needs of food and clean water, as well as, helping communities become self-sustaining. Our mission is in Africa. (Kenya and Uganda)
- We are helping by creating community based organizations and helping to bring people together for the good of all. In the past, everyone was out for themselves and nothing was truly getting fixed. Our CBO's are bringing business leaders, farmers, teachers and religious leaders as well as, everyday workers together to work to solve the issues in their areas and to fix the desperate needs of all. In doing so, sharing the love, friendship, and care that is needed more than ever in the world today. We empower a Spirit of unity and hard-work that benefits all.

- Increase food security /promote better living conditions
- Create access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene services
- Reduce barriers to access to education
- Prevent malnutrition among the most vulnerable
- Help to End poverty in all its forms in the communities.
- Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
- Help in the process of communities becoming self-sustaining
Agriculture
We are not just putting a band-aid on the true needs, but we are helping to fix the issues. Our groups are becoming self-sustaining in agriculture that is the goal. Our non-governmental organizations (NGO's) and community based organizations (CBO's) are in the process of planting crops and helping all those truly in need. Our members and volunteers are creating the momentum to affect real change through hard work and unity. Working with land owners, planting crops and putting into practice good farming techniques, so all benefit from the work. There are hurdles to overcome, but we are focused on the positive impact to the lives of those in need.
Special Needs
Our groups have many special needs children and adults that want nothing more than just basic healthcare and equipment. Many are without even basic equipment like a wheelchair. We are trying to change their lives by providing the necessary equipment for them. The HIV and Aids crisis has damaged the fabric of many communities. Parents pass away leaving children to grandparents who can't afford to care for them. When the grandparents pass,there is an overwhelming amount of orphans that are uneducated and without hope. Basic education costs money and many don't receive even a basic education leading to even more poverty. We would also encourage you to pray for them. If you would like to get involved and sponsor a child we can match you to a boy or girl with special needs. You can get to know them better by writing and emails.(If you would like to sponsor a child with special needs email us with your name and phone number.We will contact you and that way you will benefit only that child with his or her true special needs)
Youth Programs
In our groups, we want to be a platform where every young person can achieve personal and community goals that lead to a healthy and productive life. Mentoring is a fundamental tool in helping children and youth in finding their way in the world today. Unfortunately, many youth lack natural mentors who can guide them through the often difficult task of growing up. Mentoring that is safe, effective and sustainable takes a team of people who can promote and encourage our youth. We want to put mentoring back into the community. Older generations must pass on their values, skills and faith to the young. The hope in mentoring is that our youth will take what is shared and bring it to new heights. Youth mentoring is a natural part of a healthy family and community life. Too many youth lack mentors to enable them to fully realize their full potential and all that God has created them to be. We strive to get them to see they can be a success and to help others so they are a benefit to the entire community as well as a productive member of society.
The goal is to strive for academic excellence, to educate families, to successfully and effectively bring together community resources to address youth empowerment. Each of our CBO's and NGO's has a committee made up of faith leaders, business leaders, teachers etc.. who are dedicated to serving and volunteering their services and time in helping our most valuable resource our children. Our priority in our youth programs is to teach youth about themselves, while promoting self-esteem through motivational group leaders giving hope to the youth and changing their outlook to a bright future.
Our Mission Statement
iThe Missions Ministry of "Love and Unity Ministries International" is ordained by God, we are called to proclaim the Gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the Evangelical Christian faith. (The bible cover to cover nothing added, or left out!) To maintain the worship of God and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives and love to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people and the communities we and our groups represent.
While we understand an NGO and a CBO are not religious organizations, we utilize these registered groups and help to establish them, so that they may be recognized by large organizations and their respective government. They will then have access to any funding available and also are eligible for grants so they are able to truly change their communities. We help to establish NGO's and CBO's (Non-Governmental Organizations & Community Based Organizations) to bring people together to work in love and unity to face and tackle the real issues that they are dealing with together. We help them through the process of joining the community together, forming a committee, and the process of registering the CBO in their respective country. We also help to develop, empower and equip the men and women involved.
The Chairman position of our groups is a Pastor, a man or woman of God who has been ordained and has dedicated his/her life to Christ and is NOT involved for ANY reason, but to help in seeing to the true needs of those in need of help. We try to inspire them and teach them to walk by faith, wisdom, knowledge and understanding, because in most cases they are trying to not only change the community but actually change the mindset and culture to a degree. We use a Pastor of strong character so they can take on such a big challenge. It requires real trust in God to open doors and change hearts. We also seek to mentor them in Christian love through teaching and training and to love one another as Christ loves us. We try to inspire men and women to educate and change lives and share God’s truth. In doing so, our mission does not put a band-aid on problems, but is dedicated to the process of helping them become self-sustaining. Through small businesses, crops, education, orphan care, special needs care, and even healthcare it changes entire communities and that love and unity spreads to the next community God-willing. Our aim is to bind the wounds of the brokenhearted and to proclaim liberty to the captives, to share the oil of gladness instead of mourning so they may sing with the garment of praise.
